Vikas Sahyog Pratishthan (VSP) is a non-profit organization established in 1990. VSP works to promote Social Justice and Sustainable Development in Maharashtra State.

VSP is looking for candidates having-
a) 3 years of experience of working with NGOs in education.
b) Candidates who have experience in teaching and/or teachers’ trainings, working with schools and communities will be preferred.
c) Proficient in the local language (Marathi, English and Hindi) – communication and documentation.
d) Skilled in use of MS-Office.

Minimum Educational Qualification: Graduation/Master’s in Science, Maths and Engineering

Job Profile:
Project Jigyaasa is an education initiative to promote curiosity based learning using STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) methodology in Schools of Municipal Corporation of Mumbai, Thane and Navi Mumbai.

1. Visiting Schools and Support Teachers in STEM teaching.
2. To synergize STEM methodology into school curriculum, mapping the school syllabus with the STEM kits and consulting the teachers for effective learning outcomes.
3. Guide teachers in using STEM methodology, developing evaluation tools/mechanisms.
4. Mobilize community members, SMC members for increased awareness about STEM and Project Jigyaasa.
5. Network regularly with the local government with the support of the Learning Coordinator.
6. Organize SMC meetings to discuss and evaluate Project Jigyaasa on a quarterly basis.
7. Prepare monthly work plans to guide individual responsibilities and achieve project milestones.
8. Submit regular activity and progress reports (monthly, quarterly, six-monthly and annually) for regular monitoring of the project to the Learning Coordinator.
9. Accurate documentation of all procedures, reports, photos, expenses of activities of the project.
10. Conduct base line and end line survey to measure enhancement of learning and retention of students.
11. Support the Learning Coordinator in liasoning and advocacy with all stakeholders

Salary: Rs.26,000/- To Rs.30,000/-
Location: Mumbai, Thane and Navi Mumbai
